Swipe

— For Keeping Music as a Lifelong Passion —

Any musical instrument fulfills its true purpose only when its sound reaches the ears of others.

However, it is said that around 80% of people who play instruments have never performed in front of an audience.
For students and working adults alike, opportunities to gain performance experience in a healthy and sustainable way are surprisingly limited.

To help address this challenge, we launched a project called “Swipe.”

— Swipe’s Approach —

Swipe believes that sharing the importance of performance opportunities and practical examples of how to create them—through articles, publications, and media—is essential.

For this reason, hosting frequent events is not our highest priority at the moment.

Currently, we are refining the “300-Second Guitar Competition for Everyday Players” (held annually in Tokyo as part of the TOKYO HANDCRAFT GUITAR FES) as one of Swipe’s test programs, with the aim of expanding it in the future.

— Moving into the Next Phase —

As awareness grows among players who have never performed in front of an audience, and as this small venue begins to exceed its capacity, we will begin considering expansion—such as larger-scale events, one-time special events, or regular ongoing gatherings.

Our driving force behind Swipe is a sincere desire to support dedicated beginners.
To everyone who shares our wish to protect and nurture performance culture, we kindly ask for your support.

Please note:
・Swipe is not a membership-based organization like “Me;”. We would be grateful for your participation or attendance on an event-by-event basis.
・If you would like to support the project more actively as a supporter, please feel free to contact us via the inquiry form.
